Peter Parker's parents disappeared when he was young, and he now finds a clue that might help him understand what happened to them. He discovers a mysterious brief case that belonged to his father and begins a quest that leads him directly to Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. Peter/Spider-Man is now set for a major confrontation with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard.
Also starring is Emma Stone/Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans/Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, and Irrfan Khan/Dr. Ratha. The film is directed by Marc Webb and written by Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves.
