The G.I. Joes are fighting their mortal enemy Zartan, who works under the Cobra Commander. Zartan has managed to convince the U.S. Government that the G.I. Joes are traitors and has most of them assassinated in a sneak attack. He has also placed all of the world leaders under the control of Cobra and has threatened innocent populations. The remaining G.I. Joes must now put together a desperate plan to free the world from Cobra.

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 29, 2012.
