Battleship is an upcoming science fiction naval war film that is based on the game. The film is directed by Peter Berg and stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna and Liam Neeson. The movie surrounds on a fleet of ships that are forced to do battle with an unknown armada of unknown origins.
It is scheduled for release on May 18, 2012 by Universal Pictures.
