Vampire Hunter is a supernatural horror movie based on the 2010 novel by Seth Grahame-Smith. The film is produced by Timur Bekmambetov and Tim Burton and directed by Timur Bekmambetov. It portrays the real-life figure Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States as having a secret identity as a vampire hunter.
After his beloved mother is killed by a supernatural creature, Lincoln develops a passion to destroy vampires and their slave-owning helpers.
Benjamin Walker stars as Lincoln. The film is scheduled for release on June 22, 2012 in 3D.
